We all have a taste for fast things…fast cars, fast service and fast downloads. At Southport Grocery & Cafe we like
to take it slow…with our food.

That’s why we’re supporting Slow Food Chicago, an organization dedicated to creating a world in which everyone can enjoy food that is good, clean and fair…in other words, slow.

On Wednesday Aug. 26th, Slow Food Chicago will be staging an Eat-In at Daley Plaza from 11:30am – 1:00pm. Join us to learn more about child nutrition…bring your lunch or order a box lunch from us or other partnering businesses….call us at 773-665-0100 by noon on Tuesday the 25th.
