Take a peak at last week’s Secret Supper menu:

-poached asparagus with oyster mushroom cream sauce & crispy ham

-duck breast with udon noodles, miso broth, sesame seeds & asian vegetables

-roasted halibut with ramp & pea ragout, roasted sunchokes

-since this month’s Secret Supper coincided with the start of Chicago Craft Beer Week, we thought what better way to join in the fun than serve beer & a shot for dessert. Our take on this was a beer cupcake served with a shot of cocoa nib whiskey.

As always, we use as many local vendors as possible, and this menu featured local asparagus, ramps, Middle Brow salted caramel ale & Jake’s country meats ham. Our wine pairings included a malbec and also a Marlborough sauvignon blanc, then we had a range of house made cocktails and local craft beers to choose from.
