The second volume of our preserve periodical just came out a few weeks ago and we’re super excited to have both volumes available on our shelves. It’s been a labor of love – brainstorming recipes, fine tuning them, cooking, photographing the food and then of course lots of editing! We hope you enjoy the periodical as much as we enjoyed creating it! Each one is a full-color periodical full of recipes and ideas of how to use our preserves in unique ways so that you can enjoy the best of what local farms have to offer, all year round. The recipes range from family favorites to twists on classic cocktails. These Buckwheat Pancakes are the bee’s knees. Between the sweet roasted squash, crunchy nuts and tangy goats cheese, the whole dish is just incredibly well balanced and flavorful. Our apricot preserves add a layer of fruity sweetness that really makes it.
This Red Pepper Turkey Burger was a hit with our staff. It’s tasty and pretty healthy too since it’s made with turkey. Our pepper jelly gives it a little bit of oomph.
