We thought we’d take a second and speak to the great work that has been up on our walls and will be featured in the upcoming Drink Up Art event – Stephanie Schlatter. Her work was put up for Art Lakeview – a week long bear-hug from Lakeview to local artists in the form of featured art in windows or throughout the store. Our space has been flooded with the works by Stephanie, a beautiful and clear collection of great pieces.

Stephanie Schlatter draws a lot of her inspiration while on the Michigan wine tour and traveling abroad. The rows of grapes appear in many of her works, melting in bright swirls of color, creating a scene at once familiar but not. We think of them as pulling colors from rich sunrises and sunsets that always seem to fall on vineyards. She also spends a portion of her time helping others find their creativity – her visits help found Art Aid for Tesfa, which shares and supports Art and Education. ‘Like’ her on Facebook to stay up to date on all her events and adventures.
