We aren’t ones to jump on something just because it’s cool. We always make sure it’s worth the space we make for it on our shelves. We’re all for gluten-free goodies, but if they aren’t any good – well… you get the idea. That is why we’re super proud to brag about a couple of new gluten-free baking mixes: give a big hello to Ethereal Confections Gluten Free Mixes.

We currently carry both of the mixes, a rich and luscious double chocolate brownie and an incredible chocolate chip cookie. The brownies make a solid 8×8 pan or a couple muffin tins (mini-brownies!) worth of goodies – they are decently dense but have enough volume that they aren’t limp over over-fudgy. The Chocolate chip cookies come with the ideal amount of super-tasty chocolate nuggets (just leave some for the cookies). Like we said, we love having the Gluten-Free availability but it’s got to have gusto, and Ethereal’s mixes have it in spades. We think Gluten-Free items shouldn’t remind you of their lack of gluten, but stand on their own – be 1:1 comparable to their counterparts – and these baking mixes do just that.
