This maple syrup was a finalist at this year’s Sofi Awards, chosen from 3200 entries in a blind taste test conducted by a national panel of culinary experts. And for good reason too!
Sugar Bob’s is a tiny family operated maple sugaring business in Landgrove, Vermont, producing the “finest kind” of maple syrup you’ll try: smoked. That’s right! They use the darkest, highest quality maple syrup and infuse it with hardwood smoke. Nothing else is added, making it pure and delicious. It might be a little too smoky to go on pancakes alone – we’d recommend adding some fruit to create a balance of sweet, smoky and some acidity.
